Great location with sea views from every room—our room had an incredible spot for watching the sunset, which was definitely one of the highlights of our evenings. Both breakfast and dinner offered decent quality and a good variety. However, service quality was very hit-or-miss. While some staff members were genuinely attentive, others were borderline rude, which was particularly disappointing. Another downside was the maintenance of the sunbed areas near the sea. They weren't cleaned regularly, and we found numerous cigarette butts left in the same spot day after day. Instead of rushing guests to leave in the evening, the team should focus on keeping the beach area clean. Overall, our stay was still very enjoyable and the hotel maintains a high standard—though I would rate it a solid 4-star rather than a 5-star experience.

J’ai eu la chance de séjourner une semaine à l’Apex Hotel Waterloo Place, et je mesure mes mots ! Ma chambre offrait une vue magnifique sur la ville, un vrai plaisir de se réveiller chaque matin avec cette vue. Mais ce qui a vraiment fait la différence, c’est le personnel : disponible, chaleureux, à l’écoute du moindre besoin. On sentait une réelle attention portée aux clients, avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce bel accueil, et surtout au jeune homme qui s’est occupé de mon arrivée, et du suivi de mon séjour ! I was fortunate enough to spend a week at the Apex Hotel Waterloo Place, and I mean every word of what I’m about to say! My room offered a really beautiful view over the city, a real pleasure to wake up to each morning. But what truly made the difference was the staff: attentive, warm, and always ready to help with any need. There was a genuine sense of care for guests, combined with real kindness and professionalism. Thank you to the whole team for such a warm welcome, and especially to the young man who took care of my arrival and looked after my stay throughout!
