Location is amazing and the staff was so nice

I was in Cologne for a 5 night stay with the goal of seeing the city and visiting my German relatives. This hotel was perfectly located and central, my room was comfortable with good air-conditioning and very clean. I was traveling alone and had no concerns for safety and many places to eat were just steps away from the hotel. I had the breakfast one morning - and the service was excellent - the choices for the buffet were typical and enough for me. Although my room window faced the Alter Markt - I had no issue with noise - very well insulated. The front desk staff was helpful and gracious - calling a cab, answering questions, and even helping me to mail a package!

Efficient hotel in the center -but not quite- of Cologne. You may walk to main city landmarks. Find restaurants idem. The Rhine pretty much next door. Ample rooms, comfy beds. Helpful and accommodating staff. Very nice breakfast.

Small but clean room, beds weren't ideal for a tall person. Staff were friendly, shops very close by and a great selection of bars and pubs close by too.
