**Great hotel in a fantastic location** We had a really enjoyable stay at Nero North. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, and the location is excellent. The rooms are a real highlight — spacious, modern and very clean, making them a great place to relax after a day out. There are a few areas that could be improved. The number of sun beds is limited, and the ones available aren’t particularly comfortable. Adding cushions would make a big difference. The beach area is also quite small, especially around breakfast time when it can feel busy. Service around breakfast could be a little quicker too. Plates aren’t always cleared away promptly, and ordering food and drinks can sometimes take a while. That said, these are relatively minor issues. **Overall, Nero North is a great hotel with lovely staff, a fantastic location and excellent rooms. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it — it’s well worth booking.**

NO BETTER PLACE IN LOMBOK

Just the most wonderful stay!

The property itself is beautiful. We stayed in the adults only lagoon. The day we got there they had emptied the lagoon and were filling it back up so we only got to swim in it the one day. The 4 star review is because of this, the staff when we got there really didn’t care and didn’t offer us anything, just expected us to suck it up even though we paid extra for that room. On Gill T the only way to get back and forth from the harbour with luggage is by the horses. It sounds cute but it is not! The horses are extremely overworked, hot, and dehydrated. Please don’t pack heavy going there. The staff were friendly enough, not as friendly as the mainland Bali, but none the less they were nice. The breakfast is insanely expensive so make sure to pay upfront for it while booking because it’s much cheaper. I would recommend staying in a villa, we had friends who stayed there and it was amazing. I also think the villa people have a much better experience at this place compared to an average room. Theres no coffee machine in the adults only lagoon room and it’s way at the back of the property. Along walk to the front but it is quiet so take that as you will. All in all, I wouldn’t be back. The hotel is very expensive and high end, we didn’t really fit in there and I’m not a fan of Gili T as an island. Mainly because of the treatment of the horses. I would skip the island all together and explore Lombok or main Gili more.
