Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel did not meet the expectations of a 5-star property. In my opinion, the facilities and overall service level were closer to a 4-star hotel rather than a 5-star standard.
The breakfast was disappointing and did not reflect what we would expect from a 5-star hotel, with limited variety and quality. We were also allocated a room at the end of the corridor with a large column in the middle of the room, which affected the comfort and overall experience.
The staff’s appearance and professionalism could be improved. Some staff members were wearing very wrinkled uniforms, and the service style did not always feel professional or in line with the standards expected from a 5-star hotel.
The location was another disadvantage, as it was not convenient and access to main areas was difficult.
The main positive points were the spa, swimming pool and gym facilities, which were enjoyable. However, the swimming pool was also being used for children’s swimming lessons during our stay, which affected the relaxing atmosphere expected from a hotel facility.
Overall, we expected a much higher standard from a 5-star hotel and unfortunately felt that the experience did not match the rating.
