We stayed at the Grand Hyatt apartments with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly, ensuring that our needs were met. The room itself was spacious enough for my family of 4.

Well located good quality hotel, not far from Tiananmen and the Forbidden City; a five minute walk to the Wanfujing shopping strip (the building with the Apple Store has many restaurants on levels 5 & 6).
Pool and gym area is truly exceptional by any hotel standard anywhere. Bar is ok but very adequate. Service was efficient and friendly. Concierge lady was a delight, with excellent English.

Fun stay
This was a Hutong Hotel to experience old Beijing living. It was fun! We enjoyed meeting other people too in the common area.(tip: better to use Baidu maps, than Google maps when traveling in Beijing)
