8.8/10 Excellent! (1,005 reviews)
Nice surroundings with uninterrupted views to the distant mountains which gave a picturesque sunset backdrop at night.
We stayed in Vesta rooms which were spacious and close to the main areas of the pool, reception, spa, and dining rooms.
Our kids are 16 and 14 and we were fine using the adult pool which was the best option as it was a good size and normal depth. The main pool was a bit disappointing being a bit small and shallow throughout.
We also used the adult dining room and bar which avoided the queues and noise of the main dining room.
The food option for breakfast was fairly standard but ok. Dinner was a bit limited and repetitive. The hotel tried a few theme nights but the offer was limited and ran out quickly. Our daughter is vegetarian and there was very little choice throughout our stay that suited her. We were all inclusive and thought the best food option was the lunch restaurant by the pool, which had a good selection. Food was made to order and delivered by waiting staff. Although some options had an extra charge.
The hotel is fairly isolated although there’s a good bus service to both Pollenca and Alcúdia beach which also stops at the old towns.
Overall a very nice hotel with good facilities with welcoming and helpful staff.

9/10 Wonderful! (897 reviews)
Overall an enjoyable stay! Let’s start with the good, big room my son had his own bed and we had a double. Free minibar restocked daily and tea and coffee in the room. Nice adults only pool area (16 years plus) was very quiet all week and had no issue getting a sunbed. I would say though that if you are traveling with young kids it might be a bit more challenging to get a bed at the other bigger pool during peak times, but there are a lot of sunbeds and also a private beach, with a lot of free covered sun beds there too. Good food selection in the restaurant but also a lot of Turkish food which I was not brave enough to try. There was also a grill with meat outside and a wok section where you could create your own stirfry. On our last night there was also a kebab station. Overall you will certainly find something to eat and there are also some themed restaurants where you can eat free once or pay. (Bbq, Italian, Thai) Now the not so good, the shower is over bath and not very spacious or great water pressure. We had a room near the back of the hotel on the right side, there was a partial sea view which was nice but also a not so great view down below of the rubbish dump for the hotel next door. Ask for a room as far forward as possible in the hotel, that would definitely be better! The hotel overall is good, the staff who clean the room & reception are every good, the staff who set tables at breakfast are good, but the staff who cook breakfast can sometimes be very rude. The WiFi at the hotel needs to be much better as we found it very poor. It cuts out & is atrocious at the pool area. The kids pool is good.

Queues for everything here. Checking took nearly an hour, queues for sun beds, for food (I’ll get to the food), for drinks (you can get only 2 drinks per person, so a family of 4 need 2 members to go to the bar). Always running out of drinks around the pool.
The food was terrible. I stayed for 6 days and ate in the hotel only 4 times. The worst cuts of “meat” used which resulted in mainly bones.
Oh and the “kebab hut” took 30 mins to queue up for and 1 per person. So again, if the family want to eat from a snack bar they all need to queue for half an hour together.
Really not what you expect from a hotel billing themselves as 4 star.
Staff didn’t want to help with anything. Bars closed at 11, but last orders at 10.30 and lights turned off and kicked out at 11. You can then head to the piano bar, but must pay for the same drinks that you were just consuming in the beach bar.
Additionally a security guy (PSG logo on T-shirt) would come around the pool each day at 4pm and aggressively “police” what was happening: people messing about in the pool, throwing a ball in the pool (yes! A ball!), sitting on the side of the pool drinking. All things that people were allowed to do for the 7 hours that not a single staff member was there, but at 4pm suddenly there were rules.
The staff were predominantly not Portuguese and there was a huge language barrier.
Don’t stay here

Very busy Terraza buffet restaurant. Would try to dine in the a la carte if possible as less cafe like. Range of food and wine was amazing. Cocktails truly lovely.
Would also try to get to the other sister hotels if we were there longer, either to the pools or bars to have a break away from the small children in MarBella. Explore the island incl day trip to Corfu Town or a boat trip or 2. Gaio in Paxos beautiful.
