Netherlands Adventure Vacations

We loved our stay and the area. Very central, quick train ride to everywhere! The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and honest in their recommendations. The area is easy to navigate and plenty to keep you busy.

The hotel is in a great location. Spacious, clean, old school elegance, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. However I wasn't notified ahead of time that the pool and hot tub would be closed for my entire stay. That was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. I asked for compensation and the front desk just said he will put the request through to his manager but I have not heard back. I would have stayed at a far less expensive hotel had I known about the restricted amenities.

This is a good but perhaps not five star hotel. The staff were great (especially at breakfast, which is a treat). However housekeeping couldn’t clean our room until nearly 4pm on two occasions (having been out from 10am) and the room was more 3-4 star than 5. It’s a good location though and we enjoyed our stay. If it had been rated a 4 star hotel and priced according it would be a score of 4/5. It was too expensive for what it was however.

I don’t write reviews…But for the Waldorf Astoria in Amsterdam I will. They were perfect. Honestly. In the business and did not want to leave. The service was spot on. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Great location, wonderful room, quiet room for sleep, close walking distance to all the museums and great food! I highly recommend this hotel!
