We loved this place. The location is on a quiet street but close to everything. The staff were so helpful. The property is so pretty and on on-site restaurant right on the beach was a great addition.

Nothing else there.
Water didn’t work for 1.5 days.
Elevators didn’t work for 2 days.
Air conditioning didn’t work for a day.
Pool bar was closed the whole time.
No other bars or restaurants.

The grounds were clean and spectacular, and the room was fantastic. We had a garden with a partial ocean view, which was very private. We loved the different pools, restaurants, great drinks, and excellent food. The staff were outstanding, the service was superb, (the bellman Arnulfo [blue eyes] was helpful and stepped up to help out with transportation).
Housekeeping noticed that we were celebrating a birthday, and they had a pleasant surprise in the room, complete with balloons and a "Happy Birthday" sign. That made the day even more special; it was just beautiful! Can't wait to go back.
