« The bathroom was a little small..otherwise this cottage was perfect. So cute! Beds were comfortable. Plenty of upstairs and downstairs space. Kitchen more than adequately stocked wtth dishes etc. The owner was in contact before our vacay with all the info we needed. Would go again. »

« We had a family wedding and it was perfect for having a few of my family members for dinner. It’s comfortable and cozy, yet plenty of room to never feel crowded. Well stocked towels and kitchen utensils. We enjoyed the screened porch. Beach is a short distance away. Definitely going to rent again. »

« Great location, clean, great host! Hope to come back! Enjoyed Lake Michigan, Petters gallery and wine, high end merch, brewery, soo many antique shops, saw deer, rabbits and the beautiful fall foliage. Sunset at oval beach is a must. »

« This is a plesant cottage grouping with the host living on premises and keeping the landscaping looking very nice. We missed the peak of the tulips, which is why we chose this area to begin with. It was my wifes birthday and she has never seen the beauty of Holands tulips. Early warm and then a storm left everything pretty much destroyed......BUT......we did visit Windmill Island and ordered some tulips for us to enjoy at home......i am digressing......the property, cottage and surrounding area...

« This was our second stay at Jan's Cottage, and it was just as we remembered it. Check in was easy and the place was clean when we arrived. The hosts are friendly and responsive and you can tell take good care of the property, including a well maintained yard w/sitting area that we would have enjoyed if it was a little warmer outside. It is located on a quiet street that is the perfect location to downtown shops/restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon! »

« This little cottage is convenient and charming. It is only a 2 minute walk to restaurants and shops, and a 5 minute drive to Oval Beach. The cottage itself has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the two decks for morning coffee and afternoon snacks & drinks. Josh is very helpful, as well. »

« Just returned from a three night stay at this fabulous home. Four long time friends from different states gathered to to enjoy the weekend in Saugatuck. The home could not have been better! Very clean, well appointed and large enough for each of us have our own bedroom. Bonus for us city people were the deer that came to visit throughout the day. Appreciated all the elements the house offered, the basement theatre and gaming were outstanding but we ended spending most the time in the living room...

« This house is in a perfect location for oval beach and hiking. The chain ferry was no longer operating as it was after Labor Day but if you visit during the season it is right across the street! Perfect for getting into town without a car. The house sleeps a lot of guests and has everything one needs for a great vacation. »

« My wife and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary on April 2024. The place is beautiful, as is the area. We enjoyed being so close to Lake Michigan, Kalamazoo Lake, and right across the street from the Kalamzoo River. The place is well set up with a full kitchen including stainless steel appliances, and dishwasher + a magic bullet blender and wine and bottle openers, as well as toaster and coffee maker.
