Blue Zen - Two Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 4

This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom was remodeled in 2017 with spectacular views and access of the Kalamazoo river. This secluded cottage will make you feel like you are far from everything yet only few minute drive to downtown Saugatuck! This cottage is located on a very private setting with amazing views, indoor gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and charcoal grill. Take the stairs down to the river and launch your kayaks for a paddle on the kalamazoo river to town or try your luck at fishing. (There currently is not a dock at the property and the stairs are steep) The master bed has a therapeutic adjustable bed with a TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed and also has a tv. Note: you do have to walk through the master to access the second bedroom. The second bedroom has windows with no shades. The full bathroom is outfitted with a shower. Note: The shower is a smaller stall tiled shower. The cottage does have a mini split AC system.

By renting this cottage you are agreeing to the following rules:

(All rules are strictly enforced)

1.) All of our rentals are non-smoking.
2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items.
3.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Tents of any kind are not allowed. There is parking for 3 cars in front of cottage.
4.) Do not move the furniture.
5.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property.
6.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $1500 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately.
7.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility.
8.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items.
9.) Grills are to be cleaned after each use.
10.) Quiet time is after 10pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night. Drinking games are not allowed on the property. Neighbors must NOT hear you inside or outside the cottage after 10pm.
11.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed.
12.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than 1.5 times the maximum occupancy of the cottage.
13.) There may be wood for the fire pit that you are welcome to use but it is not provided. You can get firewood at most all local gas stations and stores.

These rules are strictly enforced due to NEW city and township ordinances. This contract is the only warning you will get. If any rules are not followed all local fines, security deposits and any other charges will be charged to guest and the entire group will be asked to vacate the property. This communication is necessary so that your vacation experience is a good one for your group and our neighboring community. Please ENJOY your stay!
