It was a real pleasure to discover this new hotel. The staff was wonderful! Shout out to the amazing front desk crew and breakfast staff, Erica, Ashley, Warney and Daniela. They made us feel welcome and were always ready to fulfill any request, make suggestions on places to visit, or arrange transportation. We stayed in a beautiful suite that was spacious, charming and honored the palatial history of the property, while accommodating the private art collection. The only slight negative is that is a little far away from some of the sites of Porto if you are traveling on foot. The terrace overlooking the River was beautiful and made a lovely setting for breakfast each morning!

The hotel is in a great location with only eight rooms ,I believe.It has no immediate access for vehicles or parking so you will have to wheel your luggage to the entrance which is a short distance from the main road. Beside this minor inconvenience the staff is wonderful and will help with everything including your luggage from vehicle to room and back ! Special mention for Isabel at the front desk whom is very knowledgeable and a great person to talk to about everything ' Porto '.
