« Lovely cottage super close to everything. Hosts were very nice and we enjoyed the family dog, too! :) Very clean, modern, easy. It was perfect for our short vacation doing the Nike Tennis Camp (three friends). We all had privacy but a nice common area to hang out when we wanted to. »

« The Cole house on 17 mile dr at Pebble Beach was perfect. We had three couples and all three rooms were so comfortable and cozy. Enjoyed our view of the Water inside and outside while sitting around the fire pit. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked several meals during our stay. « If you are planning a trip to Pebble Beach, Carmel by the Sea, or just want to be on the Monterey Peninsula, you are not going to do much better than this property. Minutes from Ocean Ave in Carmel, Pebble Beach Golf Course, Poppy Hills Golf Course and of course 17 Mile Drive. We had six adults staying for a quick golf trip and wanted to be close to the course. « House is woefully in need of many minor repairs. Wall sockets in bedrooms need to be replaced. Most important issue is slippery bathtubs with no grab rails. One shower has see through window to outside. We had to hang a towel outside to block it. Another shower had no light, bulb needs replacing. House lighting system is puzzling…whenever anyone gets up at night the entire house lights up. Heating system is poorly designed with one bedroom getting all the heat. We loved the large gathering area...

« The best thing about the house is the quiet, peaceful location close to Carmel and Monterey. There was plenty of room for our family, a group of four adults and one toddler. The host made arrival and departure easier for us by being flexible about check-in and check- out time (we were meeting up from different directions and had the toddler). A minor criticism is the lack of shampoo and conditioner, things I have come to expect because they were at other rental properties. There was soap. »

« We had a wonderful weekend stay, such a great location with an easy walk to the beach and Pebble Beach facilities. Easy to get to Monterey and Carmel for day trips (10 min drive). The house is a little run down but nothing that stopped us enjoying our stay. We would definitely go again! »

« Julia's house was a great home base for our weekend getaway and Big Sur Marathon. Kitchen was well stocked and the rest of the house was spacious and comfortable. The driveway is very steep and narrow, which would be good to know ahead of time if you have a low vehicle or one with a trailer hitch like ours! »
