(231 reviews) The rooms were clean and modern. The bathrooms were nice with a really nice rainfall shower head. The reception staff was always kind, helpful and courteous and the candy they had in the bowl was DELICIOUS!!! It was a little difficult to find so maybe more signs would help and there is a small flight of stairs you must take before reaching an elevator. The elevator is not always working and only fits 1-2 people at most. The hotel is a good 4 flights up, if the elevator is not working. The location is right across the street from some delicious restaurants and the metro and subway have an entrance right in front of the building. That all said, 10/10 stay and would definitely stay there again. (242 reviews) I stayed here for six nights. The room was clean and well equipped, and the staff were courteous. The room size was typical for a standard three-star hotel. The property also offers facilities such as a terrace and a spa. We were a group of three, with one double bed and an additional sofa bed provided. The hotel is located in Buda, about a 45-minute walk from Elizabeth Bridge, or around 10 minutes by bus. While it is slightly far from the main tourist attractions, the area is safe, quiet, and walkable. Breakfast was not included and cost €10 per person. It would be a nice improvement if breakfast were included, even with a slightly higher nightly rate. Breakfast was a pleasant assortment of hot and cold in a remarkable restaurant right next door to the hotel. Lovely bathroom with heated floor and perfectly hot and powerful shower (very much appreciated in January Budapest temperatures!). I highly recommend Callas Hotel for a pleasant, quiet and trouble free stay in the very central heart of the city.
