The Belgian Percherons are beautiful. There are many other live animals and people enacting in period costume. There was a live church service in the small chapel onsite. It was not in English; however, our relatives translated the jist of what was going on. People were quite amused at the priest as he seemed to have a good sense of humour. (36 reviews) The staff was very courteous and friendly. However, the room we were assigned on the first night was quite a shock. The shower was located in the bedroom with only a single glass wall for separation. There was no sofa and only one chair in the room, as well as just one small bath towel provided. Overall, the room felt more like a closet than a proper hotel room. Given the price we paid, we expected a much more decent accommodation. The following day, I requested a different room, which we received that evening. This room was significantly better and met our expectations. That said, I believe a discount should have been offered for the first night, which unfortunately did not happen. Overall, the hotel is very clean and modern.
