Cross-country ski along 34 miles (55 kilometers) of groomed trails through the serene forestlands. Alternatively, take a snowshoe trek through the wilderness, spotting local birds and elk. After some strenuous exercise, revitalize your body at the massage center.
In summer, explore a mountain landscape that transforms from snow white to varied greens. Ride the Mile High scenic chairlift to the summit of Mount Washington and experience panoramic views of Vancouver Island. Hike the challenging West Summit Ridge trail.
In the evenings, enjoy a hearty meal accompanied by live music at Ted’s Bar and Grill before playing a round of mini golf. Be sure to try a beavertail, a stretched fried dough treat, topped with sugar and sweet condiments. Beavertails are only available in winter.
Mount Washington is located on the west coast of Canada, on Vancouver Island. Fly from Vancouver to Comox before driving or catching a bus to the resort. Stay in slope-side chalets and lodges for easy access to the ski runs.
