I was very satisfied with my stay.

We found that breakfast hours were generous, which was great because we didn't always want to wake up early on vacation. We appreciated being able to have breakfast closer to 10 in the morning.

I rarely leave reviews, but I want to warn others before booking. The photos do not reflect the actual condition of the studio, and this is not a beach property. We arrived around 11:00 PM due to flight and customs delays. Although the listing states the office is open until 11:00 PM, no one was available and the studio was left unlocked. We were later informed a cash electricity deposit was required ($10 per unit, three total), which was not disclosed in the Expedia listing. I contacted Expedia before arrival and on check-in day but received no help. The bathroom was unusable due to a broken shower head, clogged drain, and broken toilet handle. There were insufficient towels, some were dirty, no washcloths, and the sofa bed does not pull out. The next morning, we were forced to report to the office at 10:00 AM despite explaining we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and had an 8:20 AM excursion pickup. The property manager was rude, dismissive, and inflexible. The office opened late, causing us to miss half our excursion, lose included transportation, and pay $40 for a taxi. I also paid over $40 in electricity for a two-night stay despite minimal use. Misleading listing, poor communication, rude management, maintenance issues, hidden fees, and no support from Expedia. I recommend reconsidering before booking.

⭐️⭐️ Hard Rock Punta Cana — What Happened?! We stayed at Hard Rock Punta Cana in 2018 and it was FABULOUS. We were so excited to come back, expecting the same beautiful resort and experience. Unfortunately, this trip was a huge disappointment. This resort has gone seriously downhill and is in desperate need of a deep cleaning, updating, and better organization. First, this place is MASSIVE. There are employees everywhere, and while most are friendly and genuinely want to help, there are so many different people trying to be “your person” that it becomes confusing. Messages get crossed, mistakes get made, and instead of feeling taken care of, it often feels chaotic. ROCK ROYALTY — SAVE YOUR MONEY! We paid extra for Rock Royalty and honestly felt it was a complete waste of money. We saw very little added value for what we paid. If you’re considering upgrading for this service, DON’T. Spend your money somewhere else. AND ABOUT THOSE $200-A-DAY ROOM CREDITS… Don’t get too excited when you hear “$200 room credit per day.” It is NOT what you may think. The credits have very limited uses. We were told they could essentially be used toward things like the spa and golf — and there is still approximately a 35% service fee associated with the services you use the credits toward. When we stayed here years ago, resort credits could be used toward excursions. Apparently, that’s no longer the case. Food made our last 1.5 days in the room close to bathroom. Sorry no more space😩
