"We stayed in another double tree recently and it was awful so we won’t expecting a lot but we were so surprised. Exceptionally clean, very welcoming staff, the room was a “basic” room but had all the luxury and amenities of a more expensive one. Mini shop on site with self service and EV charging available too. The breakfast was incredible. Continental, fresh honey, bakery section, as well as a granola building station. The cooked English breakfast was very high quality. Really nice setting over looking the water with outside dining optional. The breakfast staff were so friendly and welcoming. Highly highly recommend"

"Hotel was having some work done, so for reception you had to walk through the restaurant without clean signage and then was approached by a waiter after looking about, advising to go up to floor 1, I think a person for the hotel could welcome people and direct or register on an iPad, We had a long journey with heavy traffic and went to reception where the lady confirmed check in and advised to read the leaflet for details, again as customer service I don’t think it’s that hard to advise that breakfast is x time. On checking out, a different lady kindly registered my car, as on arrival whilst I advised that I had completed check in details with the car reg, the lady had not asked me to register the car on the other system, thankfully the lady on checkout did, which avoided a fine, even though parking payment was authorised. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, no one greeting you or checking room numbers, help yourself. Coffee machine not working properly and air con blowing high so good goes cold very quickly. Very underwhelming experience and had looked for somewhere to eat the night before and lots of people stood around talking without the customer service of welcoming to see if could help. On the plus, location was excellent for the o2 with ease to get to concert using the cable car which is discounted if going to an event and left the o2 and on a cable car and back to hotel in less than 15 mins!"

"A decent hotel but unsafe carpark. Upon checkout, car was seen with severe puncture and tearing of tailgate panel leaving a large open 8 inches hole. The receptionist was aware and just said I was not informed because they couldn't find the owner even when they asked for my registration upon check-in to use their carpark. It was clearly an attempted car theft that happened past midnight. Never coming back again. Also, upon late check-in which was past 4 in the afternoon I was told to wait while they will check if there is an available room. Good thing there was."

"Check in was the only part that was ok. The room looked ok but in reality it wasn’t a 4 star hotel experience. The room was boiling hot and with a thermostat on the wall turning it to 15 degrees did nothing the room felt hot warmer than outside. The corridor was cooler. Called reception to asked about the air conditioning or if they had a fan they said they would sort something and call me back. This didn’t happen so had a room all night that was uncomfortable and unbearable heat. The toilet was separated from the bathroom but with no sink to wash hands and smaller than a wardrobe in side. At checkout the receptionist was rude,defensive and had an excuse for everything. She said we don’t have any service engineers late in the evening and it’s not air con it’s an air r cooling system and due to hot weather the rooms will be hot. Unhelpful and not apologetic at all. Wouldn’t recommend a stay and definitely not worth the money."
