Check-in was meant to be 5pm but I wasn’t given access until around 8:30pm due to their own failure to provide entry details, despite repeated attempts to contact them. When I finally got in, the room was clearly used and filthy with towels on the floor and with rubbish left behind. I then had to wait even longer to be moved to a different room. This is basic hospitality and they completely failed. "Hotel looked great online and like a 1970s holiday camp when we arrived with metal staircases and chalet rooms
We also had a lovely guest decide to smash the room up under us and threaten everyone police called not 1 member of staff checking anyone was ok

"This is a unique hotel with a bit of a disjointed connection of buildings and some different updates in places, but overall a really nice stay and great experience. We had a suite in a portion of the hotel that had been a house, so there were nice stairs and windows that reflected an older time. We had one room with a toilet and a tub, and two bedrooms, each equipped with its own shower. "Nothing wrong the aesthetics of the hotel and appeared clean. Staff were good. Just the second Marston’s Inn in a year that I’ve been bitten badly by bed bugs. Reported and hopefully will get sorted. 100% will not stay at another Marston’ Inn."

"Was very impressed that I had a kettle and tea/coffee as ive stayed in other ibis and they didnt have anything. Slept well every night, bathroom was also great shower was quite good too. Overall impressed, compare to the other ibis in Sheffield"
