Forfaits vacances – Lower Catesby

Don’t be fooled by the name !! This hotel might have been boutique back in the 80’s. My room (7), was decorated by my gran with an eclectic miss match of furniture. The bed was terrible and hardly slept all week, sofas were non usable as sooo uncomfortable, the phone reception was non existent and the WiFi was really as bad. Considering i work away, wifi is pretty critical for my needs and I couldn’t do any work which meant being on site longer than I would have liked. I’m working in Cheltenham till Feb 27 but certainly won’t be coming back here

Property was great, amazing service and welcoming.

Room was fine but I messaged the hotel twice after leaving regarding an item that would have been forgotten in my room and unfortunately they did not reply. Otherwise location is good, although a little bit of hassle woth the ongoing works around.

Nice hotel, with very pleasant staff. I had dinner in the evening and it was. good, simple and well prepared The hotel is showing abit of wear and tear. However, late November in the country side, when it is dark and wet, is never a good time to be at ones best. Good stay and good value for money.
