« Wonderful location, which we chose as a base to explore other coastal towns nearby such as Camden and Belfast. The hosts were lovely, and the gourmet 3 course breakfast served daily was simply amazing. The home was charming, and cozy and filled with everything that made the stay delightful. Walking across the street to a lobster dinner on the water was an added bonus. We’d love to return to the Spouter Inn. »

« We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend while in the area for my daughter’s college graduation. The house and property was exactly as represented in the online description. It’s a really peaceful place with great energy. The host was great. Communication was good and she responded quickly when we had a question. The property would be a great place for a large family get together. Tons of space! We would definitely rent here again. »

« This was a perfect place for us to spend Thanksgiving. Comfortably furnished and had everything we needed. We hope to return someday and enjoy paddling on the beautiful lake in addition to enjoying the lovely view. Close enough to get to restaurants and attractions but a quiet, serene setting. »

« Lucy and John’s apartment has everything you need, and then there’s the beach! What a special place. I got up to watch the sunrise there many mornings. Lucy and John are wonderful hosts, attentive and friendly but respectful of privacy. They provide a great list of insider things to do, too. I’m so glad to have met them. And John even drops off veggies! Lincolnville is a perfect location to explore the mid coast of Maine; even Acadia NP is just a 90 minutes drive, very doable for the day. Easy...

« Nestled in the woods made us feel like we were the only people within miles but still only .5 mile to the local general store. House was spotless and very comfortable to return to after full day of touring. Location was perfect. We hub and spoked using this location as home base. Within an hour to Boothbay Harbor, Acadia, Bangor and Manchester region. »

« I truly loved our time at Shelby’s home. We have stayed in many properties over the years and this was one of my favorites, probably in the top 2. The hostess was very responsive and friendly, and I felt like I was staying with family. My four-year-old loved the playroom and did not want to leave!
