La Milpa Tours and Activities

We loved staying at the Villa Massis! They have created a piece of paradise. The room was perfect and comfortable, air conditioning was great, the pool was refreshing after busy days of tours. They served yummy food options and were attentive to details. Their new riverside bar area with a deck and steps down to the river is a fun and gorgeous setting. I would highly recommend staying here. They are about 10 minutes outside of town but close to restaurants and shops. They provide a lot of services on the property. Lucy was really great and helped us out with whatever we needed and Jason also made sure we were attended to and having a good time. You can book tours directly through them as well.

We were the only guests on the property which we found to be odd. You couldn’t eat outside or sit on the beach because of the insects. On the positive side, the staff was outstanding, and tended to our every need. The snorkeling was spectacular and the best we’ve ever experienced. Our guide and captain the best.

This place is a gem! The thoughtful service was above and beyond. The island sits on average a 30 minute boat ride off the coast. Lots of available activities both in the water and on the mainland. There are only a few units on property so it’s very low key. Gorgeous views and a private lagoon with mangroves. Dolphins, iguanas and sting rays are all over and it’s only a mile or so from the barrier reef with untold wildlife. Daisy is the main point of contact. She is quick to respond with any needs. The bar was somewhat limited on the all inclusive package. Basically rum and beer with other options available as a pay per drink premium. Definitely would recommend and we’ll visit again in the future.
