« Very clean with extremely comfortable beds. The welcome pack was a lovely thought and much appreciated. »

« We welcomed the useful car park with my daughter’s pending wedding and ease of access to town. Room was clean but very hot although fan was provided but noisy overnight and didn’t rotate & only one window opened - Despite this and noisy guests in proximity - everything else was good. Breakfast and staff were helpful and especially at breakfast the staff member was pleasant and I noted took time to talk to guests and was very amenable. Thank you for a good stay prior to wedding. 😊 »

« Very nice pub attached to the hotel. »

« Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück ist einfach umwerfend. »

« The Accommodation was very clean and modern. The staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was amazing »

« Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfy bed and room. Spacious double bed room. Bathroom and toilet recent and clean. Plenty of parking. Breakfast had ample choice between continental and English. »

« Unfortunately, the room didn’t make the best first impression. On arrival, there were two used bath sheets and a T-shirt left by the front door. Once inside, I noticed hairs throughout the carpet, on the bed and around the room. The room lacked basic information about hotel amenities, services and breakfast times/location; the only information provided was the...

« Cadre en campagne mais très plaisant et agréable. Super petit déjeuner à l'anglaise, je recommande fortement. Dommage que l'hotel propose uniquement des taxis dans la ville même et pas de chauffeur de l'aéroport de Manchester »

« Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...

« Great location for Matlock Bath illumination. Hotel has an Indian restaurant which was popular but we had already booked elsewhere. The hotel is generally clean and tidy but some aspects of cleaning could be improved. The shower doors and bathroom floor would have benefited from a better clean. Good parking facilities on site and friendly staff. Hotel is a bit tired but places to stay in Matlock bath with parking are limited. All in all, good value for money. »

« Nice, clean,good breakfast »
