Fort Rock Trailhead Tours and Activities

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. The location was excellent—very close to the entrance of Yellowstone National Park, which made it extremely convenient for exploring the park. Unfortunately, the hotel itself felt quite dated and in need of renovation. Although the hotel did not appear to be full, we were assigned a corner room with very little natural light. It would have been nice if a brighter room had been offered. The room was clean, but housekeeping was provided only upon request rather than as a daily service. Given the very dry climate, it would have been a thoughtful touch to provide moisturizer in the room. There was also no drinking water station available, which has become fairly standard at many hotels. To get ice, we had to drive to the main office, which was inconvenient since it was located some distance from most of the guest rooms. The complimentary breakfast was average, although we appreciated that guests were allowed to bring their own food and use the breakfast lounge during breakfast hours. Overall, our stay was satisfactory, primarily because of the excellent location. However, based on the hotel's high online ratings, we expected a better overall experience and a higher level of guest amenities and service.

We visited for 2 nights from the UK. It was an excellent wild-west adventure deep in the Gallatin Valley. We took advantage of the Fly Fishing lessons, a 2-hour horse ride in the wilderness and the Chuck Wagon BBQ - all of which were brilliant and well organised. The staff were friendly & helpful. A great place to relax and unwind.
