It's about 15 minutes into town and within 30 minutes to an hour of numerous trails, waterfalls, parks, activities, Tweetsie, etc. Very quiet and secluded with a nice mountain view. « Definitely a place to stay for the outdoor lovers! My 3 year old loved exploring the creek. We found so many insects and critters to looks at. « The home had everything we needed and far more, fully stocked kitchen, hot tub, a game room with a foosball table, pinball machine and a full size arcade game loaded with tons of options, plus a cache of board games. The interior is tall ceilings, a full wall of windows, beautiful pine walls and ceilings, comfortable furniture, large smart TV in each bedroom, living room, and game room. « The house was absolutely beautiful. Didn’t get to enjoy outdoor area. However the bumper pool took me back to my childhood. The road in was being paved so that was very bumpy. This one is very comfortable, and they must have worked on cleaning because it was mostly fine. Not perfect, but acceptable. Plenty of towels. Main bed is super comfy and the room is quiet and dark. Upstairs ceiling is low so duck but it's worth the tradeoff of having 3 bedrooms with 4 beds (hard to find in the area). TV works great with...

A wonderful discovery
"This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! We also fell in love with this charming town, which we didn't know at all! It's pleasant to walk around and there are many restaurants and small shops. We were on our motorcycles and the hotel was within walking distance of everything. We highly recommend it to anyone!"
