Hotel and room were very nice, however a hidden parking cost was not appreciated. Was told I needed to pay for parking at reception on arrival, when I mentioned to manager(?) that evening that it showed that parking was free both on Expedia and their official website he said it was a new charge that they obviously hadn't updated online, but was given no choice but to pay or leave (hotel is on a main road near no other options!)

Room was a cozy room so small with a king size bed and compact clean bathroom.
Good for rhe price.
For me it was the staff that made my stay special. Lynette the manager at breakfast and all of her super friendly attentive staff could not do enough. I was staying on my own and they made me feel so comfortable and treated me so wonderfully explaning what was available and were attentive. Lynette made the stay so memorable and is an asset to the hotel which is in a convenient location for what i was in Birmingham for.

The bar prices on larger are not to bad but the wine prices are way to high the smoking area out the main entrance has no cover ok in the summer but the winter well you know
