"This is the perfect property to get away from the crowds and enjoy some rest and relaxation. The room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable. The amenities are five star! I got such and amazing massage and the staff is amazing. I will absolutely book again. "

"It was such a good resort! So relaxing, but also fun! "
"My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort for 4 days and have no complaints! Kind and accommodating staff re always one of my priorities and this resort knocked it out of the park. Upon arrival we were immediately helped and checked in. We changed and went straight to the pool. Some outstanding service shoutout go to Ricardo a server and Gustavo a bartender, they made our experience memorable and we really appreciated how fast and good quality the drinks were.
This resort did have nightly entertainment with some nights better than others. But my boyfriend and I prefer a chilled out/ family friendly vibe anyway so we were fine with it. The aquatic show was amazing!!
The food was decent. Buffet was solid as well as Villa Marina and La Girasole. Since our time was limited we didn’t try all the restart other guests liked Hibachi as well.
Overall, i recommend this resort for people of all ages and not to mention the resort is very budget friendly. "

"We loved the place. The house was comfortable and in an excellent location—perfect as a base for a trip to the Riviera Maya. There were plenty of towels, which we really appreciated since we went to the beach (the beach at Puerto Morelos is one of the best) or pool almost every day. The community pool area was great, and we were able to see monkeys and agoutis (sereques) in the surrounding forested areas.Diana was very responsive and helpful with our questions and inquiries."

"We were travelling with our adult sons and their adult friend. This property gave an impressive amount of privacy to each guests. Everyone having their own bathroom was a nice feature. The condo is quite large. There is a lot of stairs up to the top two levels so keep that in mind. We rented a car but would go out to the front gate in the evenings to request a taxi into town. They usually arrived within a few minutes. Oxxo (variety store) right next to the main gate. They do not sell alcohol or have an ATM. Great communication from our host. We all agreed that it was a nice stay and would return. We felt very safe. "
"This VRBO is located in a quiet, middle class neighborhood, which is exactly what I'd hoped for. We accessed the downtown area easily via bus or taxi. Also within reasonable distance of grocery shopping, and within walking distance to a convenience store, local restaurants pharmacies, a fresh vegetable/fruit market.
My taxi driver had difficulty locating the house, so I spent the 1st night in a locally owned, reasonably priced hotel downtown. My travel partners arrived on later dates and didn't have a problem getting there. Casa Catalina is nicely furnished, and had most things needed for a longer stay. More than adequate supplies to cook.
1 suggestion would be a microwave, if possible. There is a handy washer/dryer combo to use.
3 bicycles, 1 lock and an air pump for tires.
Once settled in, we really enjoyed our stay.
I sincerely apologize to the host for not finishing the washing of dishes. My taxi driver arrived, and I had to leave to make it to the airport on time.
I would like to visit Puerto Morelos in the future for a longer stay, and will consider Casa Catalina as an option."
