Absolutely — this keeps the important specifics without feeling like a long complaint. We had a mixed but overall relaxing stay at Media Luna. The rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the pool area was well maintained. The beach is small, but the snorkeling right off the beach was surprisingly great and one of our favorite things about the resort. There was plenty of food, but we found it just okay and wished there were more authentic Honduran/Caribbean options. Drinks were basic and served in paper cups that quickly became soggy from condensation. The rooms could also use some simple improvements like hooks in the bathroom and better shower heads. A tree hitting our roof during windy nights was also pretty noisy. The staff was generally nice, although some seemed a little disengaged, probably because there were hardly any guests during our stay. There isn’t much to do at the resort, and the excursions offered didn’t really interest us. We left the resort three of our six days to explore other parts of Roatán and definitely recommend finding a reliable taxi driver, since the resort only provides transportation to and from the airport. There were also too many free-roaming cats begging around the dining area. Overall, it’s a clean, peaceful place with good snorkeling and a nice pool if you’re looking to relax, but don’t expect a lively all-inclusive experience, lots of amenities, or exceptional food and drinks.

We stayed at Caribe Tesoro for one week, and the highlight of our stay was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The location is excellent. You can easily walk to the beach or enjoy the hotel’s private waterfront area. The pool is heated, so if you prefer cooler water you’ll likely spend more time in the ocean. The rooms could use more attention to detail. The pillows were uncomfortable, the mattresses were very firm, the bed frames were noisy, and the toilet paper was extremely thin. The biggest disappointment was transportation and management. We scheduled a 5:30 am shuttle, and the night before we were assured a driver would be there. No driver’s contact information was provided. At 5:30 no one arrived, and because the office doesn’t open until 7:00 am, there was no way to reach anyone. No explanation was ever given for why the driver didn’t show. Getting a refund has also been frustrating—they said it would take 5-7 business days, but the manager later said it could take even longer, despite charging our card immediately. The website also isn’t clear about transportation pricing. We were told $35 for up to four people, but were charged $35 each way, per room. Food was hit or miss. The conch fritters upset my stomach, and although I informed the staff, no refund or gesture was offered. On the positive side, the included breakfast was great, especially the baleadas, pancakes, and huevos rancheros. Mangmnt needs to improve.

I have stayed at different resorts in west bay, this this has been by far the best, staff is great and friendly.

Currently this place experienced with management changes. Therefore a huge mess in customer care.
