« The host and property are amazing! The host provided excellent directions and made sure to leave the lights on when we had to arrive later than expected. The home is absolutely gorgeous inside and out —awesome home decor, porch and outdoor seating. Everything is extremely clean and maintained. I highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer! »

« I could have asked for a better time. The Host responded to my e-mails within a couple of hours and his advise was spot on.The property was heaven sent with the river just steps away from the large front porch.Walking into the large cabin was a joy as it had everything anybody needed from some food staples to family fun games. « This is an exceptional property for our purposes. It is only about 25 minutes from the Cumbres Toltec railroad station. The fall colors were beyond beautiful and the whole trip above expectations.

« Chris was an amazing host with the most incredible property that he shares with his guest like their family! Truly enjoyed our stay and visits with Chris - he’s not only interesting and funny but a wealth of knowledge (and encourages you to live life to the fullest!!!) « Pet friendly cabin with completely fenced in back yard. This property couldn’t be any closer to the river! You hear the constant peaceful flow of the water adjacent to the cabin. This was the Perfect location for fishing the San Juan River and Navajo Lake and it was stocked with everything we needed for a weekend getaway (coffee, snacks, clean towels, A/C, WiFi, etc.) check-in/out was seamless and host was very communicative. I would definitely stay here again. »

« This property was everything we could have wanted and then some! Debra and Linn were perfect hosts. Debra responded very quickly to any questions we had, and we had several laugh filled conversations over the week. The front porch is amazing for relaxing and animal watching. We saw deer walk across the yard several times and even were blessed to see a half grown bear! The hosts thought of everything you need and some that you wouldn't expect. This is definitely a place to return to. »

« We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is beautiful and cozy, close to the river, and still within walking distance of plenty of things. It’s not a large place, but there was more than enough room for the two of us and our two Frenchies.
The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. And while the indoor living space is on the smaller side, there are several lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy when the weather permits.

« We stayed at Bears Den for 3 nights. It is a cute cabin with remodeled kitchen and bathroom. Fully stocked with everything you need. The bedroom however is very small and it's located right as you walk in the door. No room on either side of the bed to walk around. Wish the bedroom had a ceiling fan. It got really warm with no circulation. There's just one small three drawer dresser in the room. Another drawback is the smell of sulfur everytime you turn on the water. We dealt with it, but...
