Traditionally considered the seat of the High King of Ireland. The site is actually huge and you can easily spend an hour walking through the fields. This was probably one of the nicest days we had in Ireland. We stopped in the little Village alongside the hill and had a "99" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/99_Flake ) in the Gift Shop then went into a Used Book Shop that had a Gentleman in a White Suit and a Panama Hat sitting outside of, he was the proprietor. We picked up a few items, among them was a paperback of the history of the Hill. When giving the items to the owner he looked at the little history book and asked if we would like him to autograph it, it turned out that he was the author. We had a great time chatting with him.
