CityCenter Tours and Activities

This was my time at the Rio. Stayed in Masquerade Tower, so not the newly upgraded rooms. Very very spacious rooms and very quiet and clean. Like I could do cartwheels in the living space between beds and sofa. Lol. Carpet is a bit dated but the beds were comfortable. Small fridge but no microwave. Checking in and out was easy for most but I had Expedia so had to wait in line to check in. Checkout was a breeze. Ubers come quickly. Close to the main Vegas strip but didn’t go as I had a full convention all weekend. Korean BBQ dinner at Kangs was fabulous though pricey. Starbucks was great until it got swamped and an hour behind. You really need two of these here. The place is huge so lots of walking. A few cute little shops with souvenirs and gifts. Loved the Kiss world arcade and museum! Main issue was the casino or main floor allowing smoking. Like don’t yall know second hand smoke kills? I was shocked smoking was allowed indoors. That’s a no in Texas. Anyways, it’s my main complaint. Had to walk through the smoking stinch every time I had to leave Masquerade Tower and walk ALL across the smoking casino to the other restaurants and all the way til the convention center. Glad there was at least a no smoking area by my tower to start before having to try to hold my breath through it. Just ridiculous. Make it non-smoking. I won’t return here because of it. Even if I have another convention here.

Great location, luxury accommodations & loved the Club Floor amenities - definitely worth it!
