(1,007 reviews) This was a lovely hotel. There were a lot of steps, not a problem for me. Parking was ok. Housekeeping did not replace dirty glasses or replenish toilet paper, we had to go to desk to request. As well as pool towels that we left on the floor after 3 days, they just hung them up. Desk person was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel has so much potential, however no pool bar/cafe operating, which would have been convenient for lunch. The Thai restaurant that was open for dinner was fantastic. We had a terrace room with plenty of space, a chase or 2 would have been nice to use the space more. (662 reviews) The noise is unbearable. We were on the third floor and had small windows connected a metal stairway that is so loud and it was like they were having a party up on the roof all night. We had to be up at 1am to catch a flight and couldn’t sleep at all. Between the paper thin walls where we hear everything the other rooms in our hall were doing and the loud party, we couldn’t sleep. At $500 a night this was unacceptable. The place is clean and comfortable, but you can’t relax at night with all the noise. (469 reviews) We loved everything about this place. It felt warm and inviting. All the staff were kind and very helpful. Everybody goes out of there to say hello. Most of the employees are bilingual. The room is beautiful and shower is amazing. Great water pressure. The pillows are so comfy. Umbrella and lounge chairs for beach are complementary. Kumo is delicious and has amazing waitstaff. Thank you again for taking such good care of us. It made our vacation that much more memorable.
