The room was spacious, but overall it felt dark, dingy, and very outdated. The furniture and sofa beds felt old and not very clean, and the sofa beds were especially uncomfortable. One of the biggest downsides was NO AC, which was horrible in this heat! 😩 Housekeeping also took our towels and didn’t replace them with clean ones, so I had to call the front desk to request more. I had also made a spa appointment based on the pictures I saw online. Once we arrived, I decided to visit the spa beforehand to see the facilities. Unfortunately, it was not at all what I expected. The spa was extremely small with only three treatment beds, very outdated, and had a dark and gloomy feel. I ended up canceling my plans there and finding another facility nearby for our spa services because this one just wasn’t for us. The hotel restaurant was okay, but nothing special. I ordered the chilaquiles with shredded chicken. The flavor was okay, but the shredded chicken was simply placed on top without any additional sauce or being incorporated into the dish, which made everything very dry. I left most of it uneaten. On a positive note, the coffee was good! ☕ Overall, the property has potential, but the rooms, furniture, and spa could definitely use some updating.
