Appenzell Ausserrhoden Vacation Packages

I gave 4 stars because there was no air conditioner instead an electric fan that only allowed us to press to #2. 3 was not working. Also, we could hear the cars, sirens, helicopter & tram. We were at the 4th floor & had a nice view, but when we opened the windows to feel cool, the noise was even louder. The next night was the same, hence I had to take Benadryl and put the earplugs they provided, which helped. Otherwise, the hotel was strategically located, within the old town, where there are lots of restaurants, it iswell maintained, very clean, and the receptionists were professional, helpful, attentive, and friendly. It is a few steps away from the bus and train station.

Very far from Zurich, but close to shopping and restaurants. Hotel itself was nice, staff pleasant with limited English

One of the best hotels I have stayed in Zurich !

The hotel is a little outdated. The room doesn’t have AC , only a little portable cooling system with a pipe out of the window, but the pipe was not hooked on the window just leaving an empty hole next to the bed. The check in at 2pm is too early, the room are not ready at all. So we left the luggage in the dirty room unattended or have a choice to leave by the front desk area without supervision. There’s one tiny elevator but the housekeeping keep using it so a lot of time have to wait or use stairs, the bedding has some funky smell.

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was not worth that much honestly, Most importantly, the front desk staff were wonderful , Haida was very knowledgeable about the area and extremely helpful.The location was very convenient and accessible to everything, especially the to the downtown and. Subway main one , but when you get of the subway, because the street is under the construction you are getting lots for first time. Vet nice to ancc to the coffee 24 hours a day. Oh I have to tell I was in one bedroom with 3 beds in new building just off the main road! When our flight was canceled and Rome was already booked for next day , staff was nice and booked other room but in different building ( which is older ) I am thankful for that Which saved us to not move out from that street to somewhere else but that old building our room was extremely small and uncomfortable,( it was just ok for one night) . Highly recommend staying on new building .
