While overall I love it, this time I noticed a few niggling things that are not ideal -- e.g.,, no mini-fridge to store my lunch stuff, no convenient or functional socket by the bed to charge my phone, TV wasn't easy to use without any instructions, experienced music noise from the bar below (but it ended before 10 pm.) "What a gem! Tabitha & Logan were very helpful at check in, provided restaurant suggestions and cookies/taffy. We were traveling with our small dog. They had a dog kit setup upon arrival with a bowl, treats, towel for the beach & sheets he could sleep on. The bathroom had plenty of towels & nice products. The location is excellent. You’re in the heart of all the restaurants and steps away from the incredible beach. We highly recommend!"

"Nice location, quiet and the front desk was helpful. They have office hours and you need to check out the hot tub, which is nice so you have it to yourself but plan around office hours. Very walkable and peaceful.... exactly what I would want when staying on the ocean. Loved this spot and I hope to be back!"

"We liked that it was across the street from Tolovana State Park and beach access. We got excellent weather and a beautiful sunset. We also enjoyed the surrounding peacefulness and quietness of the location. We needed that rather than the business just a few miles to the north. We drove towards the downtown area of Cannon beach, about 2 miles, to eat out and noticed how quickly it felt crowded compared to where we were at Wayside Inn. There was also a nice store right across the street so we could have just eaten in our room if we wanted to. The whole area, both the busy and the quiet, seemed very polite and friendly. It was a great relaxing get away."
