The hotel was in a great location but it was a bit dated - in terms of the decor and the bar/dining room. We didn’t have breakfast as it seemed expensive - so we used a local coffee shop (Miriam’s) which was excellent. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was modern , new and immaculately clean , we booked dinner bed and breakfast and a 3 course evening meal was included which made it good value .
Our only negative would be the hot breakfast items were not very hot , they were under hot lamps but obviously this was not effective enough to keep it very hot .

Excellent location on esplanade. Stairs dated and probably original but don’t let that put you off. The room was clean and not dated with everything I required for a couple of nights. Breakfast was good both days and cooked to order. Be aware parking spaces are limited. There is a car park a short stroll down the road or you might be lucky and find a roadside space as there are a few with no restrictions near roundabout.
