« This cabin was a clean,spacious, family friendly located in a quite subdivision. My elderly parent found the single level layout easy navigate. Plenty of outdoor activities close to explore and the lake was prestine. Lots of shopping close. We very much enjoyed the lighting bugs display right after sundown. It was like Christmas trees lit up! Thank you for sharing your lovely pet friendly home with us. »

« Very clean not even cobwebs on the high ceilings! Cozy but spacious. The stairs to the loft bedroom are so neat. Decorated very well. The large new deck has great views of Mtns/lake. We got to hear rain on the metal roof and see lightning bugs in the trees. Host was a fantastic communicator. There is a great list of things to do in the area on the fridge. 3 adults stayed comfortably with our own rooms and there is 2 living rooms. Definitely 5 stars worthy!! »

« We visit the creeper trail every fall and this was the first time we stayed at this property. It is in a very nice location — beautiful surroundings and scenery. The property itself was very clean. The only concern was that one of the dogs across the way came up very close to the house and scared a couple of friends of ours! As expected, animals are unleashed out in the country :-), »

« We loved staying in this cabin! The place was immaculate, tastefully decorated and gave us everything we needed for our short stay. Love the central location as it was very close to hiking, biking and driving to Virginia creeper Trail. The owner responds immediately to any questions. We did not have enough coffee when we arrived and he sent the cleaning person that Evening to give us a supply. Enjoyed sitting on the porch at night and watching the sunset over the mountain. « Once we figured out the panel on the front door was the keypad that needed a firm touch when pressing the code, everything else was smooth sailing. Perfectly stocked with everything one would need for a getaway—all you need to bring is food and drinks. The large old Bible was a precious find, and I enjoyed leafing through that. « What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. The gas station has hunt brothers pizza and that was good as well....

« Everything in the listing was very accurate, from the electric to the water pressure. HIGHLY recommend 4wd or awd. He's not kidding about the road. Once you drive it a couple of times, you get used to it, but there's a learning curve. The views and the quiet were outstanding. Be aware it is in the mountains, and you will see some bugs and maybe a lizard or two (that one was cute). Sunrise from the back porch was gorgeous! My only suggestions would be to make a little more space for visitors'...

« The cabin was equipped very well for cooking meals of any size. We enjoyed our thanksgiving meal and then some. The cabin was family friendly. We loved the views and just how comfortable and homey the feeling was. When we left we actually felt the deer saying goodbye to us all. Going to make this a yearly tradition.
