Very friendly staff. Was able to leave our luggage before and after our check in and out. Very happy with our short stay.

Stumbled across this on a business overnight. The hotel has great character and decor with a literary theme to the rooms. The room was small but quite sufficient and the shower and facilities were all well maintained.

Not only the best hotel in Ireland but arguably the best ANYWHERE!

Excellent location if you’re looking to move around Northern Ireland but don’t want to move hotels, the food is amazing and all the staff from reception on arrival, the bar, restaurant and breakfast room are fantastic. I’ve probably stayed here on 10 different occasions over the past few years and I keep going back!

This Inn is undergoing renovation and has only in the last couple of months re-opened. They have concentrated on the public areas, the bar, reception etc. Unfortunately the guest rooms are unfinished and the corridors to them are in a building site state. They should not have opened up the guest rooms until these were complete. Although comfortable the guest rooms had an unfinished feel about them. Shower was hot and good, however it was impossible to lock them in a usable position. Fittings had been removed and not ‘finished’. The main issue with room 4 and I presume also room 3, is that you could not open the main window without being assaulted by heating fumes from outside. The burning oil smell was constant and possibly dangerous. We kept our window closed and the bathroom Expelair on at all times to remove this odour. This needs immediate attention. The staff; both cleaning and bar, were great. Breakfast was adequate and well cooked. The fruit/ cheese option should have included bred rolls and pastries but didn’t. Wifi? Not in our room. Had to move to foyer to connect. Overall, this Inn has huge potential for being a great place to stay. The current state of rebuild spoilt it. The oil smell from external boiler work was disturbing. Owners please note! Get this sorted and all will be good. Perhaps they needed income from rooms to complete work? Possibly - but comments such as ours are inevitable in less you do something about the rebuild.
