The Elvetham Estate Hotel is a beautiful 19th century 4,000 acre property tucked away in the countryside of Hampshire, England. We stayed on the 3rd floor in the Main House in a beautiful room with amazing views of the property gardens. This was the perfect place to spend a night or two before you begin or end a trip to Europe. It is half way between London's Heathrow Airport and beginning a cruise from the port of Southampton. The overnight stay at the Elvetham Hotel presented friendly staff, amazing accommodations, magical ambiance, delicious meals, and special memories to cherish.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good sized standard rooms. Very well looked after hotel. Spa and gym facilities are excellent. Bar and restaurant have a nice atmosphere. Breakfast offering was good. Some amenities were missing such as no fridge in the room which was surprising. The bathroom extractor fan wasn't working and neither was the heated towel rail. Also no air conditioning in the room. But they do provide a fan.
