Washagami Vacation Packages

Hotel is actually a dormitory. Room was still being cleaned when I checked in and I was asked to wait near the entrance area. Two bedrooms with a shared kitchenette and shared washroom. No TV. Only microwave, a faucet/sink and a fridge/freezer. One bedroom had a couple flies buzzing around. Windows were open which I found surprising since it was 35 degrees Celsius outside. Why would windows be left open if air conditioning was working? I did not notice any airflow out of the vents the entire time I was there? When outside, I noticed many windows were open. My room was quite warm and when I mentioned it to the front desk,they said there was nothing they could do as the entire building was controlled by a single control. I asked if they had a fan and they said they didn't have any. Parking lot close to the entrance only had a few parking spots which were full the entire time I was there. I parked down the hill at the large parking lot. A pain to carry your stuff up the hill. I only saw a couple vending machines and did not see a water dispenser or ice machine. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet while I was there. For the price I paid, it was reasonable, but I would stay elsewhere if the price is not much different. My price was about half of the next closest motel or hotel.

Our experience at this hotel was relatively good. We had brought our small dog and she seemed happy in the room. Overall, a good experience. The only issue that we had was hot water ran out pretty quickly, but on a hot muggy day a cool shower felt wonderful. Overall, we would recommend. Kitchen area was clean, greatly appreciated the recycling efforts, and the ease of being able to get into the building with a walker. Would go again.

Staff very helpful, there were no drinking cups or ice bucket in the room and we had to ask for them. Instead of real glass we were given paper cups. Continental breakfast was the worst I have ever seen, ending up eating elsewhere. Tv not working. Side chair cushion was completely worn through, manager was alerted.
