This was one of the best quality spaces for the price I have ever had. Excellent size. The staff was amazing. Shot out to m.j. The room was ready and they accepted us early. pool hours are 24/7! Perfect amenities with most of what you need but a few blocks away. That being said. Tamarindo is VERY expensive so be prepared. Neal from Alberta

The staff was exemplary helpful, room was great, restaurant and buffet was excellent, but the liquor they served wasn't good, the shows was pretty amazing at night, we took all the tours highly recommend Mario's for touring and sightseeing awesome Atv's experience the guys were amazing...overall was an amazing experience, loved it 😀 would go again 😀.

The view is obviously incredible, which is what the resort relies on. The staff were nice enough, but lacked management and training in certain areas. Had they been more attentive, we would have spent more money. The food was well cooked but the menus are a little odd. After paying so much to stay at the hotel, it's then disappointing to have to compete with public visitors to get tables in the restaurant. I'm shocked the property has been open less than 10 years; it needs a lot of maintenance. The water pressure is non-existant (shower is disappointing and even worse when irrigation is running), tiles are missing in both the main and the in-room pool. The main pool needs a deep clean, moss and black mould in the grout lines (black floating around in the pool). Shortage of pool towels, which have seen better days. Our bi-folding patio doors only partially opened, and we heard others talking about the same by the pool. We visited in dry season so whilst not expecting lush green landscaping, lights, wiring and irrigation all out the ground was disappointing to see. The areas behind the pool where nobody looks and between rooms is littered with rubbish and buiding materials. Whilst not the hotel's problem, the little make-believe town of Las Catalinas is extremely overhyped. Its still being built and its nothing. It reminded us on a Disney back lot set. Fake buildings with nobody in them. The beach and sea are lovely but quite busy with locals and visiting tourists.

Our family used this as our last night stop close to the airport (LIR). It was just a key code to access the property with simple instructions to follow. The property was secure and private. Everything was new and very clean. Since we were traveling it was so nice they provided bathroom amenities, washer and dryer and full kitchen. The shower at this place was amazing and very relaxing. The best part was being given access to the beach club (5 min drive or 20 min walk). We went there and spent time at the beach and swimming in the pool. They offered outdoor showers, rentals of surf/boogie boards lounge chairs, etc.The pool was warm so my kids swam for hours. The offered drinks and a full menu. The staff was very friendly. Overall it was a great location and great stay.
