Clean, conveniently located and good price, does what it says on the tin! Good place to stay

Location is close to train station at Manchester airport. After coming out of station it is a 5 min walk. Room had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Down side, bed was very hard

We recently stayed at Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport. The check-in team were super helpful and friendly, which made for a great first impression. The rooms were adequate overall, although unfortunately the heater in my room was broken, so it was a little cold during the stay. The restaurant menu offered good variety and the food quality itself was very nice. However, the service level from the team was quite poor. We noticed guests waiting a long time to be seated, and we had to chase a server just to place our order. Considering the prices weren’t cheap, the service didn’t match expectations. On a positive note, it was nice to see a complimentary bottle of water in the room. The free shuttle bus is also a great touch and very convenient. The gym looked good, although I wasn’t able to access it as my room key didn’t work. Overall, a mixed experience—great front desk service and good food, but let down by maintenance issues and slow restaurant service.
