Conveniently located by two U-bahn stops. Checkpoint Charlie is a 5 minute walk away. Don't believe the offer for a free drink to skip housecleaning. I did, but couldn't use the coupon for the free drink because it didn't include beer. It is only for a select beverage. Not what the door tag said. To me, a free drink includes beer. I don't drink hard alcohol, so I think I was enticed to get something I wouldn't use. Had I known beer didn't count, I would have taken the fresh linens.

This property is perfect for those who want to be right near the main attractions of berlin with budget in mind. you can walk left from the hotel and see Checkpoint Charlie, or walk right to even more tourist destinations in the area. the staff and service was very nice and pleasant to be around. If I was to go back to berlin I would choose this hotel.

I felt at home at the Abion hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The entrance is open and inviting; grab a drink and peruse their library. Lots of places to sit and visit or contemplate your next move. Didn’t eat there because we were on a budget, but wish we could have. Coffee in the rooms a big plus! Cleaning staff were respectful and thorough. The only criticism is the tub/shower didn’t provide enough handles for safety. One had to climb over the tub rim and use the shower; getting out I slipped over the side onto the floor - no handle to let myself down. No harm came of it, but in time someone will not be as lucky!

Lovely hotel, all staff very polite.
When booking we did notnknow there was no access to gym facilities or pool or there was no evening meals in the hotel. It would have been nice if these were available.
But regardless we would definitely stay again even without those facilities.

"Amazing Hotel. Staff were super lovely and helpful. We were looking for somewhere in Berlin that had good transport links so we could travel around different parts of the city easily, and this was just that! Small but great gym. Great value for money."
