We stayed 4 nights at this hotel a room they call Business class room with sea view, but the room was small and shower room was absulatly rubish, very small and mould every where....! To look the room bigger they fit larg mirrors most of the wall . tv was too close to the bed and exposed high doas of radiation so we did not watch it at all...! This hotel is not worthy more then upper 3 star....
what lacks on top comfort is compensated by staff eagerness to please...if there was a "BUT" to mention, it was that someone was smoking while i was having some quick dinner in the top floor restaurant when complained was advise it was legal...
Very close to taksim square and findikli tram stop which leads to the most touristic places.
Definitely choose the room with a view, worth the extra money 100%.
The breakfast was nice but go early as the staff do not refill everything.
The hotel was lovely, the rooms and lobby very beautiful. Super comfy, clean and beautiful decorated. We booked the room with the golden horn view - Unfortunately, our room had a very limited view, if at all, of the golden horn. It really just showed the building opposite. When we spoke to the receptionist regarding this, he was a bit defensive and didn't do much in terms of upgrade refund. He did however send us complimentary wine. The staff was otherwise very lovely, professional and helpful. Another problem we had was with the toilets - there was a very foul smell in the toilet that wouldn't go away. It was unbearable at times. Everything else was perfectly clean. The spa was very nice too.

Paying extra for bosphorus view is not that special since you don't get clear view and also you must have curtains closed at all times since people could easily look up into your room.
Breakfast was awesome, especially the owner was super nice and social.

The Beyoglu-Taksim district is on the European side of Istanbul, across the Golden Horn from the historic city centre. “Beyoglu” generally refers to the area in Taksim between Taksim Square and the Tunel (subway). The district has traditionally been the most European quarter of Istanbul, with many consulates and embassies. It remains famous for its arts, entertainment, and nightlife.
