Steele Community Centre Tours and Activities

Could not understand why the dining room is not open on Sunday. We had to pack up and go elsewhere to have breakfast… not a good service choice. Bathroom sink and toilet old and fixtures and taps need replacing.

Stayed one night on our way across the island. While the main lobby seems clean and somewhat updated, the rest of this hotel is extremely dated with a need for some major renovations. The room was damp, the mattress was very worn, the carpet almost felt wet under our feet. I understand there are limited places to stay in Gander and prices are obviously increased I would assume bc of Come from Away. This was SO overpriced and I would recommend finding somewhere else to spend your money. We certainly won't be staying her again. The only positive I can say is the staff was friendly.
