"The parking facilities was so terrible, so limited and spaces seem to be under sized, I was so concerned that my vehicle would get damage/dinged that I did not stay. I just ate the cost of the room, I was that concerned. I located a different motel in town that offered, to me anyway, a safe place to park."

"We enjoyed staying at Mountain Peaks Inn. Hill City was central to all the places we wanted to see and the Elkhorn room was perfect. It had a side entrance and made coming and going easy. The room was laid out perfectly for us. The shower was super as well as the rest of the living area. The coffee shop was a great place to go for coffee and other breakfast items, as well as lunch, and just hang out. The personnel at the coffee shop were so helpful and served us well!Lisa was a very good host and was available to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend staying at Mountain Peaks."

"Beds were soft and very comfy. Room was comfortable. Pool was good. AC smelled musty and when the compressor wasn’t running it smelled of mold and wasn’t pleasant. Nice bonus that there was a window that opened and the weather was cooler in the evenings so we took advantage of that and turned off the AC. Staff was helpful accommodating when we had something came up at home that required us to leave a day early. For sure recommend as I’m sure the AC system is an easy fix/cleaning."

"What an adorable cabin for our stay! Our two granddaughters loved the loft and claimed it as their own! The queen bed was comfortable and the place was impeccably clean! The location was wonderful, and the crik by the cabins was so relaxing to sit by. With the Dairy Twist just east of the cabins, and Elizabeth’s Coffee cabin just south of the 385/16 intersection, we were in a perfect place! And of course the location is in the of the Hills, so we had great access to all the things to see and do! Our host was wonderful and communication with her was excellent! No complaints here whatsoever."
