Salmon Beach Vacation Packages

Our stay at Embarc was wonderful. It was spacious with an absolutely beautiful waterfront view. It had all the conveniences of being at home! We loved it.

The Beach Club Resort has a lot going for it. The location is truly excellent — right on a beautiful stretch of beach and close to everything you might want to access in Parksville. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the overall setting makes it easy to enjoy the area without needing to drive anywhere. That said, there were a few surprising drawbacks. The pool area has no seating for parents who aren’t in the water with their kids, which made supervising from the deck awkward and honestly a bit unexpected for a family‑oriented resort. And while I’m sure many rooms at the resort are lovely, the room we stayed in (219) was unfortunately not. The balcony is directly adjacent to the walkway used by guests accessing their rooms — only about two feet away. This creates a fishbowl effect where anyone walking by can’t help but look in, and it eliminates any sense of privacy on the balcony or inside the room. The same issue would presumably affect the room below and those above. If you stay at this resort, I strongly recommend asking how the balcony is configured before booking and avoiding rooms in this section entirely. The location and staff are wonderful, but the layout of these particular rooms is a significant drawback.
