"The location was very close to activities in Hilo, and the host was very responsive and informative about restaurants and other amenities around the area. The house was clean and she even left little gifts for us ! Would recommend this cute house if you’re staying in Hilo for a few days. "
"First off I’d really loved that. This was a very old and traditional type of hotel, which is why we booked it. The paint jobs were pretty poor but again understandably the garden was beautiful open large windows. Listening to the Coke frogs all night was pretty nice.. The fruit was fresh so was the coffee the pastries not so much could’ve done without them as they were like bulk bought. Yes unfortunately the building to the back looks like it fell into the cauldron of little mini forest behind it. But all in all I was happy with the facility. Only thing that would have been a bit more friendly I guess is that we would’ve gotten at least half of our first night back. Due to natural disaster of the tsunami, we could not get to the island cause all flights were canceled until the next day so if they want to give us half the nights it would be very grateful"

Everything was as described or better (had a daybed in addition to a foldout sofa in the living room). Kitchen had everything we needed. Easy walking distance to downtown Hilo, shops, and the Farmers Market."
