"The house was an excellent choice for our 3 generation family of 6. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was quite well equipped and the living space was very comfortable. The property was very clean and there were lots of towels provided.We would have appreciated knowing the property included a basement apartment. It was initially disconcerting to hear noise below us. I think this should be disclosed in the property description. The hot tub was a lovely addition, however it was not ready for use when we arrived. The water level was low and the water was a little murky. Fortunately one of our group found chlorine tabs in the garage and was able to shock it so it was perfectly clean the next day. Daniel responded quickly to every request, including a new propane tank for the BBQ.The property could be equipped with better green bin and blue bag recycling in the kitchen. The neighborhood is lovely and was very convenient for visiting family in Fort Saskatchewan. We would rent the property again."

"Best 3 nights in a long time! Stayed at Pine Creek Retreat and honestly still thinking about it. Clayton and Shannon run this place with so much heart. They both went above and beyond for literally every part of my stay, from check-in tips to little touches I didn't even ask for. You can tell they actually care and are not just doing a job. The cabin itself was so quaint and cozy, exactly what I needed for some real peace and quiet. No noise, no stress, just birds and trees and stillness. Perfect little escape. And the shower and bathroom house! I didn't expect to love it as much as I did, but there's something about that rustic setup that just adds to the whole experience. Simple, clean, charming, and honestly kind of a highlight…😍 If you're looking for a place that feels like a genuine getaway instead of a cookie-cutter hotel stay, this is it. Already planning my next trip back. Thank you Clayton & Shannon for making it so special!! A definite hidden gem! 🌲✨💎"
