It was not easy to locate due to not visible signage. Room is dated. Crack in wall by shower, should not be so at this price point. The sofa bed had cheetos crumbs on it. I would say when I called to complain about this, the lady at the front desk promptly responded and cleaned it and brought new sheets. Internet in room with posted password not working. It is an old building adjacent to the pub which as for sale by the Mary street entrance. Walls very thin, can hear singing from next room and room above movements constantly.

The Sandman hotel is very good to excellent (good internet, comfortable beds and super clean). Staff, especially John at check-in were super helpful and friendly. A friendly greeting every time we walked by the desk. The unfortunate part is that the Denny’s restaurant attached to it is quite the opposite…staff who often ignored us when we walked in and seemed disinterested in their job. It also has a terrible odour problem which seems related to floor cleaning and was there every time we walked in. Thankfully there is a Tim Hortons down the street, as well as a cute cafe (2% Jazz) not far away.
