Pool, Beach , restaurants , shops , coffee / snack bar , what’s there not to love! We used the very nice gym daily although an extra charge of 5/6$ per visit . Bartender at the main pool bar was fabulous ! Rolls weee comfortable , my boys loved the Murphy beds . Market close by , can walk to all the restaurants . Booked a second floor villa and it was perfect !
Loved this resort for our family spring break !

The resort was beautiful! The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the seaweed at the beach.

Very good location. Good access to restaurants for dinner and beach bars for lunch. Breakfast was fine.
Rooms are clean. Water is not drinkable and sometimes smells. Property is very strict, only 1 espresso pod per person per night. Only one beach towel and it needs to be exchanged via towel card. Also no outside food or drinks on the beach chairs.
The ocean view rooms, ocean view is marjinal.

We had a fantastic stay at the Esmeralda! The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The manager, Laura went over and above to help us! We will definitely be back and highly highly recommend the Esmeralda!
